You can initiate this move whenever you are in a position to pass the lead hand across the body so a collar tie or neck clinch is an ideal starting position.

The key movements here are as follows:

  1. Drop the lead shoulder and drive it across the body
  2. Turn the lead foot so that the heel is pointing toward your opponent
  3. Establish a vertical line through the shoulders
  4. Strike with the elbow in a vertical position

We demonstrate this being delivered while we are wrestling on the wall but it could equally be utilised in open play.
