UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs. Medeiros – also known as UFC Fight Night 126 took place on 18th February 2018. The event was headlined by Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone Vs Yancy Medeiros.

In terms of statistics this event delivered greater than any other of the year so far on many measures:

  • Most submissions of the year so far – 3
  • Greatest percentage of finishes with 66% of fights being finished and only one third going to decision
  • Lowest average fight time of only 8:09 – all other events have been more than 11 mins this year
  • Lowest average round at only 1.9
  • Equal best knockout/TKO count of the year at 5 – tied with UFC 220

We might only be six events in but even so these are fantastic numbers and UFC Fight Night 126 certainly delivered on many levels.
