Cary Kolat demonstrates a wrestling drill that is great for instinctively clearing collar ties while also giving you a great MMA warm up. Your training partner establishes a collar tie on one side and you defend with one of a choice of reactions and then he collar ties on the other side and you practise the same reaction of the other side. Try to keep the drill flowing as smoothly as possible until your reactions are natural and instinctual.
